Aqua color beach glass is from Coca Cola bottles. There once was a Coca Cola bottling factory in town. It looks exactly like tumbled aquamarine. Deep blue is from Noxema jars or old medicine bottles. Green and brown sea glass are from beer bottles. There seems to be an abundant supply due to the America's Cup Races celebrations formerly held in Newport, Rhode Island. The white sea glass is from all sorts of bottles and jars. I find shards of pottery too and wonder if those shipwrecks off the coast are to blame. Finding the sea glass is one of the benefits from living on an island in the Ocean State. I create chain necklaces and one of a kind forged metal contemporary modern style jewelry.
